Job Description

iCademy Middle East, an online school, is seeking a High School Academic Learning Coach (Science teacher) to work in our Knowledge Hub in Dubai Knowledge Park. This is a full time position, working with students in High School. Qualified applicants must hold a Bachelor?s Degree and have demonstrated experience working with students in an educational setting. The hours are 8am - 4pm Monday through Thursday and 7:30am - 12:00 noon on Friday.The High School Academic Learning Coachs responsibilities will include:

  • Follow the curriculum in its entirety for assigned grade levels.
  • Learn and use the resources available through iCademy.
  • Enter in student progress and attendance daily.
  • Prepare for the school day by visiting the advance preparation tab, printing out necessary documents.
  • Actively participate in scheduled conferences with the assigned online teacher.
  • Help and encourage student to attend live Class Connect sessions.
  • Encourage students to attend and participate in clubs, virtual field trips, etc.
  • Ensure academic integrity standards of iCademy Middle East are met.
  • Liaise regularly with students? parents and legal guardians regarding student progress and attendance.
  • Develop an individual learning plan for students in collaboration with the other relevant stakeholders.
  • Administer MAPS assessments to eligible students.
  • Submit monthly work samples to online teacher and review teacher feedback with student.
  • Other duties as assigned.
