Job Description

UAE Nationals applicants are invited to apply for the role of Health & Dietetic SpecialistJOB ROLE The jobholder will be responsible for providing expert nutritional advice to all areas of the business, including both airline and non- airline sectors, ensuring compliance with best practice and global standards.JOB SCOPE

  • Develop, review and update menus of all EKFC supplied meals to ensure compliance with airline and industry standards
  • Update and maintain SOPs for all EKFC supplied ?special meals?
  • Provide thorough and accurate Allergen Declaration to meals/menus/products where required
  • Assist in the development, governance and maintenance of a company-wide Allergen Database
  • Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of dietetic services
  • Modify menus based on specific dietary requests from airlines or customers
  • Provide Nutritional Analysis and Dietary Information to customers
  • Investigate, document and rectify issues where any deviation from agreed dietary standards occurs
  • Audit preparation of ?special meals? end-to-end to ensure compliance with agreed standards
  • Pioneer Nutritional Education and Healthy Eating messages EKFC-wide
  • Design, develop and deliver Allergen Awareness training to food production staff
  • Keep abreast with research and industry developments to enhance customer offering
Key Challenges
  • Proactive maintenance of stringent quality standards, particularly pertaining to Allergen Management
  • Effective communication of complex nutritional information in clear understandable terms
  • Meticulous documentation of accurate and up-to-date allergen declaration for all meals and products
  • Routine audit of nutrition and dietary policies/behaviours across EKFC
  • Dedicated involvement with key stakeholders to ensure nutritional requirement met
  • Proactive engagement with production staff to guide processes and communicate nutritional information
  • Novel identification of opportunities to achieve efficiencies company wide
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
  • Bachelor?s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or Food Science related subject
  • Certifications/Licensure (Preferred)
WORK EXPERIENCE: 3 years of relevant experience in a dietetic or food industry environment.
