Designation:Head of TechnicalWe are seeking an experienced Head of Detailer to handle a team of 10 members. He is responsible for managing and developing procedures geared toward the efficiency of department development & improvement.Education:Bachelor?s degree in engineering / ArchitectExperience:10 - 20 yearsLevel of Position:Mid managementJob Responsibilities:

• Define and prioritize the delivery of all technical drawings needed to execute the projects without any delay in the mentioned timeframe.
• Answer questions and resolve issues brought forward by the detailing team members
• Serve as the engineering leader and technical expert
• To provide guidance and direction to the detailer team to ensure operational and technical excellence.
• To establish structures, policies, and procedures for the department.
• To develop projects schedules and ensure their timely implementation and completion.
• To coordinate with the Production Director & Project Management on project priorities, to monitor the schedules, and report progress
• To coordinate with the Project Management team to meet with the client to determine factors affecting the design such as architectural preferences, requirements, and budget
• Working out the human and material resources needed with the workshop in charge and Ensuring that health and safety in the drawings as per site regulations
• To coordinate with the Technical coordinator after finalizing the final architectural drawings and details specifications to ensure the design specifications and accuracy in the detail drawings and shop drawings
• To review and check all project drawings to ensure standardization, compliance of the design as specified, and accuracy, before issuing to the respective team for the final check print and signature
• To maintain a thorough project record, including all client approvals, and all drawings and related documents to a project
• Ensure all drawings are delivered on time to Project Managers
• Define, clarify and develop a professional set of technical documents (Drawings, BOQ) needed to execute A3 projects
• Develop a professional Design Office with relevant tools/processes/ organization and Make sure of the feasibility of any technical drawings in terms of production
• Check and confirm the accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by Designer & Detailer staff
• Give Input for costing phase with Project Manager
• To lead and guide assigned detailers team to achieve project goals as well as foster their individual growth and to monitor man-hours spent by the team
• Develop and train a professional detailer team to handle all projects of A3
• Plan in advance about the work allocation of Designer & Detailer for upcoming projects
• Ensure that his team member follows A3 Administration rules and policy
• Validate his team members Vacation leave based on the work schedule
• To have good Managerial qualities to run it and get the best out of the team, and be able to maintain good coordination with the rest of the departments
• Organize regular market/expos/fairs visits to be always up-to-date with the latest techniques related to the interiors and architecture fields
• To maintain systemized digital files including archiving and backing up files
• To maintain up to date Project Executive Summaries to be submitted to the Management
