Job Description

Our client is one of the reputed & esteemed organizations in the asset & property real estate & valuation business & is one of the award winning firm in the UAE market. They are looking to hire a Head of Real Estate for their business operation based in Dubai who will bein charge of day-to-dayReal Estate - Development Function.In this role your duties or responsibilities will be:

  • Build asset management capability on a national level across Office, Retail, and Residential sectors, working collaboratively and effectively as one platform.
  • Full responsibility for the real estate development business unit of the organization, from inception activities to fully developed operational assets, covering the entire scope. This role will also drive CAPEX projects related to existing assets.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the development team, building a robust, scalable and efficient development platform.
  • Manage the preparation and regular review project-specific development and design briefs with local and international design and construction consultants, ensuring its alignment with the project design objectives.
  • Responsible for the operational business plans. Partnering with support functions including legal, finance, investment, sales and marketing to deliver the project objectives.
  • Produce consolidated high level executive reports within the development portfolio highlighting all critical issues, actions and measures.
  • Review and highlight the risks associated with legal documentation relevant to the real estate and development process that need to be implemented and other such documentation, government approvals and correspondence to facilitate and deliver the development.
  • Identify project risks, and report on risk mitigation measures.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you need to fulfill the following criteria:
  1. Should be a qualified professional from a relevant education field.
  2. Must be MRICS certified to be considered in this position.
  3. Having any license from RERA will be a plus.
  4. 10+ years of expertise in a Real Estate Development role, an all-rounder with strong and proven management experience in driving and leading developments in the region. Preferably delivering high-rise structures.
  5. Entrepreneurial and commercially minded with excellent project management and reporting skills.
  6. Thorough knowledge of UAE construction and real estate development laws.
  7. Proven experience in executing effective construction/ development contracts.
  8. Should be willing to travel within the UAE.
