Duties and responsibilities:Negotiate and validate transport agreements and renewal (Mozambique + Tanzania) Schedule delivery programs with customers and terminals Source trucks from transporters pool Send truck nomination to terminals Monitor truck loading and truck deliveries Update customers on daily basis Manage potential truck accidents with transporters and insurers Review truck invoices Manage transit losses Review demurrage invoices Follow up with Trade finance team and treasury for payments Monitor and reconcile positions with agent, surveyors, transporters and terminals Update operational system (Nova) on daily basisQualifications & Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience preferably in a related field Core skills : Understanding of operations in East Africa The candidate should have in-depth and relevant experience gained in an international oil trading house Good understanding of road distribution & storage Must have haulage experience in the Oil & Gas sector Must have experience with East Africa Oil & Gas operation Knowledge of IT systems relating to trading/operations, reporting systems for trading & traffic management Languages: English. Arabic and French a plus
