Job Description

Description of the jobA vacancy has become available for a Head of Maintenance Personnel (blue collars) for Working Party perimeter within the Customer Services and Support function. This vacancy includes the management and follow-up all working party activities such as aircraft repairs, specific structure/systems modification program embodiments, snag rectification, trouble-shooting or technical advisory on all Airbus delivered aircrafts (all family program except A400M).The job holder will:

  • Ensure compliance with Part 145 aircraft airworthiness, safety and work legislation rules.
  • Manage a team of around 20+ people - the working party core team (18 mechanics and 2 electricians).
  • Provide inputs and KPI?s for operational meetings (OPSCOM, Control Tower, 3-months sliding window, DOM,?).
  • Linked to the Future Team Leader Pool initiative, actively contribute to the development of blue collars to become certifying staff/support staff (Working party Team leaders). For this activity, a close collaboration with the team leader?s managers and quality department will be required.
  • Guarantee that the working parties are performed according to the customer expectations as regard to lead-time, quality (especially linked to technical skills), budget, high level of performance and as per Part145 regulation.
  • Build and address the basic and recurrent training program related to regulations, MOM & procedures for operational personnel.
  • Pro-actively contribute to all improvement projects / initiatives launched (IT development, ?)
  • Assist the Resources Pool Manager (coordinator) in technical analysis of the work to be performed on working parties and ensure that the appropriate team composition is in line with the required competence level.
  • Contribute to quality / customers / authorities audit and post-audit actions launching and follow-up.
  • Contribute in improving the MOM & related procedures and in developing the recurrent yearly training program.
  • Act as active member of the ROE (Return on Experience) committee, manage all actions and topics relevant to the working party operations.
  • Provide efficient AOG stand-by service 24/7 for working parties.
  • Promote a good relationship and team spirit over working parties (incl. all contributors)
  • Perform management visit on working party sites
