This is an exciting opportunity for seasoned and innovative Lawyer to take a non-traditional Legal career path and be part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial working environment.DescriptionAct as a trusted Legal advisor to the business and advise on regulatory matters in both local and overseas and cross-border context.Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies that are applicable to the FinTech/ payments space.Take lead in managing corporate transactions, technology licensing, cross-border payments and any relevant matter arise from the daily operation of the business.Advice business on technology contracts, software agreements and licensing contracts.Provide legal advice on contractual, regulatory, corporate governance and litigation issues.ProfileHold an LLB and be qualified in the UK, US or analogous jurisdiction.Minimum 6 years post qualification experience in a similar sectorMust have exposure to FinTech regulation in the UAE and/or KSA.Experience advising either a FinTech of Financial services entity on compliance related matters.Experience working in a start up or growthStrong preference for Arabic speakers.Job OfferCompetitive, tax- free salaryOpportunity to contribute to the growth of a rapidly expanding businessClear path for progression into senior management within the business
