Job Description

Head of Innovation And Technology Delivery | Al Futtaim Education Foundation | DubaiJob OverviewThe Head of Innovation and Technology Delivery is expected to:

  • Ensure the school is at the cutting edge in the use oftechnologyto enhancestudentexperiences and school operations with a technology schools roadmap implemented to support digital transformation
  • Challenge the effectiveness of processes, systems and ways of working to develop and change practice to maintain the ambition of being thought leaders.
  • Take on whole of school leadership responsibilities to support the school in its drive to continually improve technology standards to ensure ?best in class experience?
Key Functions of the role include:
  1. Technology Leadership and Project Delivery
  • Works with Schools? Directors to define, and shape the school?s technology strategic vision and digital transformation roadmap
  • Develops and implements the school technology plan in a sustainable manner
  • Delivers on IT projects across the year and project manage across internal IT teams in Al-Futtaim Group and with vendors
  • Manages the deployment of IT infrastructure, hardware, and systems, including leadership of a tech team to provide daily tech support to the two schools
  • Maintains a secure and robust technology architecture to include continuous improvement technology to support the digital roadmap and business as usual IT operations
  1. Digital Innovation and Collaboration
  • Ensures education and training of departments and corporate staff in the digital adoption of new media and technology
  • Collaborates across all school departments to ensure technology is an enabler to support a ?best in class? learning school
  • Build relationships across the school community to establish a customer service response model for technology
  • Collaborate on curriculum technology support to ensure best in class learning approach
  • Proactively shares technology ideas and opportunities with the school community
  1. Technology and Business Operations
  • Manages technology budget to include allocating of resources and projects scheduled in conjunction with the Director of Operations and Director of Finances
  • Manages and maintains inventories of technology resources and manages the technology team that provides IT support across the schools group
  • Manages the help desk and work order system to ensure high-quality and timely technical support for all School community
  • Works to meet all regulatory requirements regarding the safeguarding of information and implement best practices to ensure that systems are safe
  • Develop and implement IT policy and procedure needed to meet the Al-Futtaim Education Foundation goals whilst adhering effectively and efficiently to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and document an incident response plan for technology
