  • Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes using various cooking techniques and equipment.
  • Collaborate with restaurant owners to create and update menus, considering customer preferences, seasonal ingredients, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks, delegating tasks, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by following health department guidelines, ensuring proper food storage, and handling procedures.
  • Pay close attention to the presentation of dishes, focusing on aesthetics and portion control to create visually appealing meals.
