  • Oversee the work of other chefs, line cooks, and kitchen staff, delegating tasks and ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and stored in accordance with health and safety regulations along with the right standards on temperatures, cleanliness, and hygiene to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Keep track of inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed, ensuring that the kitchen always has the necessary ingredients and equipment on hand to prepare menu items.
  • Collaborate with Front of the House team to ensure that overall restaurant operation is smooth on a daily basis.
  • Manage costs and ensuring that the restaurant operates within budget, adjusting as necessary to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
