JOB DETAILS & REQUIREMENTSJob SummaryThe hairstylist is the highest level of hair therapist she can provide perfectly all hair treatments, and has high retail power. The stylist has the responsibility of the salon standards and a major role in interacting with the guest, recommending treatments, booking, realizing treatments and recommending products. The therapist needs to be independent with the guests journey and able to handle a guest from A to Z.Key Duties and Responsibilities1. Execute and explain perfectly all treatments from the menu.2. Recommend retail products to the guests3. Make sure about the quality and the procedure of the services provided in the salon4. Make sure that the products are well presented, explained and sold.5. Check on the display of the products (pro & retail) (cleanliness, tidiness, validitydate...)6. Keep a great attitude with guests and colleagues7. Present perfect grooming in front of the guest (referring to the standard) and ensure the team does too. 8. Be flexible in working schedules as per resort requirements9. Attend to duty in proper uniform, on time and well-groomedTreatments, services, retail10. Excellent knowledge of hair services from the menu and retail products11. Be fully trained on all salon products and ingredients used in the salon area12. Be fully trained for hair salon services including cutting, colouring and blow-dry techniques13. Be fully trained on hair treatments: Botox, keratin, protein and all straitening treatments14. Excellent knowledge of benefits/contraindications for all hair services15. Excellent customer service16. Conduct Salon products inventory17. Ability to give thorough hair consultations and suggest suitable treatments and products to clients 18. Ensure correct amounts of Salon treatment products are used and wastage is minimizedFinancial, stock, guest DataBase14. Be aware daily of the financial results by checking on the revenues, targets that need to be met each month 15. Check daily the stock of professional and retail products and inform the salon Manager what is needed16. Update the guest database.
