Job Description

Job Summary: The Group Recovery and Collection Lead performs professional work pertaining to the development, implementation, and coordination of procedures related to the collection of amounts due from all customers.The Group Recovery and Collection Lead performs functions that require a thorough knowledge of departmental operations and policies and may perform various accounting functions related to the monitoring, recording, analyzing of customers aging and accounts receivables.The Group Recovery and Collection Lead oversees compliance of collection team towards Imdad Credit Policy in relation to insuring adherence of collection policy and responsibilities of all collection team.

  • The Group Recovery and Collection Lead supervises Imdad Collectors on daily basis.
  • Reporting on weekly basis regarding the status of overdue accounts, and assuming responsibility for collectors effective follow up on all past due accounts.
  • Coordinates the maintenance of collection files by following Imdad`s procedures for placing customers on-hold and advising legal intervention after analyzing their delinquent accounts.
  • Review the group customers aging and compare to collectors efforts and results, follow up on critical cases and escalate at the proper time.
Responsibilities:
  • Manages collection efforts related to Imdad receivables (Covering Imdad Group) by understanding the accounting procedures and requirements pertaining to the Imdads accounts receivable system and how they are integrated with the other IT systems, reviewing past due accounts to determine appropriate action.
  • Contributes to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds.
  • Good judgement and ability to analyze situations and information
  • The ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with management requests.
  • Contribute in developing collection officers, facilitate training and to suggest improvement to the collection management system.
