Manage and control the company?s financial accounting, cost/management accounting, financial management and reporting, treasury and financial branding, inventory results and assets.
Lead and manage finance-initiated cross-functional business improvement processes to increase efficiency, add value and reduce costs.
Prepare forecasts and analyze market trends in manufacturing, sales, financial operations, general business conditions and other required areas to Project the Profitability, Balance Sheet and Cash and Fund flows of the business for the required number of periods.
Analyze overall strategic business results against business performance indicators by providing reports in comparison with company financial budgets and forecast.
Source, manage and control the company?s short and long term funds under optimal terms for supporting and sustaining the company?s business, through providing economic analysis, financial studies, risk analysis of potentially significant financial impact factors on the company and develop long-range budgets and other protective guidelines, measures and controls.
Establish and maintain close working relationships with banks and financial institutions to source the most appropriate financial products for the company?s operations. Negotiate for long/ short term/ trade financing facilities for the company, achieving optimum pricing and favorable commercial terms.
Develop and maintain the internal working relationships with the managers to ensure coordination and effective communication for achieving the company?s objectives and goals.
Liaise with and maintain strong working relationships with the external auditors, regulatory bodies, and government / semi-government entities to ensure that the company derives the maximum benefit from these relationships.
Effectively and professionally deal with the company?s vendors/suppliers, service providers, customers to ensure smooth operations of the company.
Manage the company?s financial and management reporting systems through ERP. Ensure accurate and timely availability of MIS and operational data for effective financial and operational control, to support the Strategic Planning and operational decision making process and comply with the Statutory and contractual requirements. This includes the preparation, ensuring audit and/or certification of the periodic and annual financial statements of the company by the Company?s Statutory Auditors.
Develop strong capabilities and skills within finance team members to deliver finance department objectives through a structured training and on the job training and manage the team performance process.
