Job Purpose & Key ChallengesPurpose - Trading position with a strong blend of Customer Development.? Middle Management position to grow p grains and oilseeds Market Access in international region. Candidate shall be responsible to work with internal and external stakeholders to develop Robust SND, Origination, Customer Development and Operational Excellence. Role will entail PNL responsibility.?Broad Responsibilities:1.?????????Identify Sustainable Growth opportunities for GNO business into international Region2.?????????SND and Trade Analytics3.?????????Customer Development in the Region based on existing demand pattern and growth forecast4.?????????Origination of commodities to serve customer needs and proprietary positions5.?????????Work with Futures/SWAP Desk to manage position risk effectively.6.?????????Good understanding of Ocean Freight, Forex and governing import/export regulations in the Region.?Key Challenges:1.?????????Know your Competition to develop innovative solutions for Customers and Vendors.2.?????????Risk Management- Position, Contract Performance, Credit Exposure3.?????????Keep pace with Changing dynamics of Trade?Key Responsibility AreasAccountabilitySupporting ActionsTrading / Merchandising???Develop Customer, Vendor and Broker Network?Commodity position management within prescribed limits?Formulate and Achieve Budgeted PNL, Volume and Market Share?Assess Demand pattern of Food and Feed markets in the Region?Represent in various Trade Bodies, Conferences and Seminars?Identify new ports and innovative merchandising models.?Real time assessment of competitive landscape?Create Supplier/Customer alliances for sustainable business growthSND??Develop in-house SND of Grains and Oilseeds?Trade and Vessel Line up into Different Origins and Destinations?Close watch on Fundamental and NFA bearing impact on our markets?Weather Watch at origins to assess supply built up?Roll out regular market reports to ensure timely decisions?Ability to Analyse inputs and create opportunitiesRisk Management?Counterparty Exposure and Credit risk Management. KYCs in place?Take measures to mitigate default risk?Strictly Trade within Position Limits?Hedge open exposure basis correlation?Strictly Adhere to Stops and Triggers Limits?Good understanding of GAFTA and other governing regulations?Have good understanding of VAR and other risk management toolsTrade Execution?Prepare sales and purchase contracts?Satisfied Customers by timely redressal of grievances through site inspection, communicating issues to suppliers and resolving complaints to maintain cordial relationships with customers?Follow up for A/R and A/P to ensure long term relationships?Work Closely with Documentation and Finance team to ensure smooth Contract Execution and Document Negotiation.SOP & MIS?Adhere to statutory compliances and company SOP.?Prepare MIS reports with respect to Product prices and analyse?Knowledge of working on SAP and other ERPs systemsTeam Player?Strong relationship with Geographies to develop markets and origins?Work closely with all the functions to ensure smooth execution?Leverage synergies emanating out of other Verticals to grow SSOE business profitably.?Contribute to build a competent team for Vertical?s growth.?Regular interaction & feedback on product and individual performance provided to Trade and Trade support team.?
