Global Head of Operationsat ThinkMarkets Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates We are seeking a Global Head of Operations to join our rapidly growing global workforce in Dubai. In this newly created role, the Global Head of Operations will be the driving force for all operational and process matters across the Group. This includes leading our commitment to delivering industry-leading 360 support, quality trade execution, platform innovations, and process automations globally. For this role, we will look to your operational expertise to efficiently scale rapidly, enter new markets, expand our global revenue lines, reduce friction across all touchpoints and provide our clients with tools and technology to confidently trade equities, options, futures, crypto, FX and CFDs from across the globe. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven individual with a strong technology and automation focus. A background in Trading and Operations is essential while you will need to be a subject matter expert in a wide range of financial products ranging from cash equities to CFDs to crypto. You will be working closely with the Chief Operating Office in this exciting role to develop and execute new business processes, automations and implement best practices for operational procedures across all the Groups Operational teams.Responsibilities:* Document, manage and maintain operational procedures and policies * Manage and drive growth of the client services, onboarding, treasury, and various internal operations teams.* Oversee global inbound query-handling, continuous platform connectivity, product, and platform information. * Understand and adapt existing process and technologies to fully comply with global regulators and exceed regional requirements. * Drive internal domain teams to deliver world class, frictionless onboarding, funding, trading, and service experiences, leading to the extension of the lifecycle of the client.* Recommend and implement changes and enhancements to the Operations technology stack.* Coordinate with global compliance teams and committees to ensure regulatory guidelines and processes are followed.* Facilitating improvements in operational workflows and communication across the Group.* Define tasks with business requirements for technology teams and managing their development priorities in line with the long-term strategy.* Collaborate with operational teams to identify process and trading platform improvements.* Implement engaging training plans in conjunction with the Corporate Learning & Development Manager focused on developing and reinforcing critical, standard service competencies and procedures.* Provide day-to-day operational and leadership support across the Group. * Ownership of operational objectives, KPIs, quality control and related project management.* Coordinate and improve operational reporting process; arrange and maintain timely updated roadmaps and performance reports.Requirements:* Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Finance, or Economics is preferred. * A minimum of 7 years of experience working within the CFD/OTC FX sector.* Excellent and demonstratable knowledge in trading cash equities, ETFs, managed funds, options, futures, crypto and OTC products.* Deep understanding of pricing & execution technology that drives volumes.* Expert knowledge of trade execution and the operational workflows of a multi asset, multi regulated brokerage firm. * Experience with Salesforce, ZenDesk, Merchant Gateways, messaging apps, Atlassian and MetaQuotes products.* Strong experience in crafting business requirements, sourcing, evaluating, onboarding, and integrating key technologies and process automations across departments.* Exceptional analytical skills and experience in using Tableau, or other enterprise grade BI systems. * Proven experience building and leading strong, high performing Operational Teams.* Experience managing global teams of >15 for at least 5 years.* Must be an agile team player with experience communicating with key stakeholders and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. * A passion for trading financial markets and a strong commercial focus.
