Job Description

GL AccountantDescriptionWe are looking for a talented GL ACCOUNTANT to join our team specializing in FINANCE for our CORPORATE/CBS SEGMENT in DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATESIn this role, the candidate will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Prepares general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare, evaluates and reports for the accounts payable team; makes recommendations for changes to methods and processes based on the analysis prepared.
  • Prepares evaluations and reports for the accounts receivable team.
  • Makes recommendations for changes to methods and processes based on the analyses prepared.
  • Interprets, records and reports accounting transactions in a timely manner.
  • Resolves moderately complex accounts receivable and credit issues and problems.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role the candidate will need the following:
  • Action oriented - Taking on new opportunities and obstacles with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Understanding of US Gaap and General accounting principles
  • Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a
clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Graduate or post graduate with accounting as major with 5 to 7 years of experience
