Job Description

iCademy Middle East FZ LLC, a global leader in virtual private schools, in Dubai is currently seeking an enthusiastic, goal-oriented individual for the position of German Teacher. This is a part-time (.20) contract.The German Teacher?s responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for teaching German course via the Learning Management System to students in grades 3-12.
  • Orients students to their course, communicates requirements, sets and enforces deadlines, maintains regular daily live help sessions.
  • Provides individualized instruction to help each student achieve curricular objectives.
  • Supports parents with student curricular and instructional issues, balances the flexibility of the iCademy curriculum with school policies and procedures.
  • Grades student work and maintains grade book, alerts administrators to concerns about student performance and progress, maintains regular contact with students and families via the Virtual Classroom Environment.
  • Creates and manages a home office.
  • Supports students with the set-up and maintenance of their learning environment.
  • Supports students through basic computer troubleshooting.
