Urgent job opportunity for a General Manager - Mining for a well established Group of companies in Dubai, UAE Candidate should have vast experience in Mining operations, Revenue Generation, PA&L. Present or previous experience in Oman / Fujairah / Ras Al Khaimah will be an added advantage. Suitable candidates please apply with your applications (Please share this post with your references) Job Type: Full-time?Support the company?s executive management with mining expertise To identify Contractors to erect & run a Crusher plant.?Participate in multi-disciplinary teams on various projects?Assessment, due diligence and technical auditing/review of mines and projects supporting the company?s growth strategy through acquisitions and internal projects?Financial modeling and analysis to support tradeoff studies, value engineering decisions, acquisitions and valuations?Definition and management of preliminary economic assessment, scoping, prefeasibility, and feasibility studies?Open pit and underground mine design and optimization?Mineral reserve estimation?Estimation of the mining portion of project capital and operating costs?Assist with and contribute to corporate development, strategy and reporting needs Qualifications/Experience: ?University degree in Mining Engineering with strong financial skills and understanding?Strong and varied experience (large to small company and consulting) with +15 years in the industry, preferably including head office and operational roles, with significant exposure to gold sector?Must be dynamic, self-motivated and demonstrate a determination to excel and commitment to action and be able to transfer these attributes to company?s business activities?Strong analytical and communication skills, and demonstrated ability to write reports and interact with peers and executive management?Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills?Understand mine site technical and operational management needs and challenges?Understand and can perform natural resource company valuations, including cashflow models, and comparative analyses?Sound understanding of mine design processes, software, and tradeoff studiesJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
