Job Description

General Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for leading the overall operations of the company, improving efficiency, and optimizing profit
  • Identify the specific requirements, risks, and mitigations in the tender invitation and guide the Bid Team in developing a competitive quotation
  • He will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, including reviewing designs, finalizing detailed construction schedules for the projects, estimating resource requirements, and ensuring the completion of all the projects before schedule at the desired quality and within the budget.
  • Leading and monitoring multiple projects simultaneously to ensure planned construction progress in compliance with quality standards, budget, building, and safety codes
  • Develop and implement proper systems and processes to ensure cost and timeline efficiencies, regular reporting practices and approval procedures.
  • Generate periodic reports for various projects and prepare weekly project snapshots and action plan.
  • Conduct regular project review meeting with the project management team and other stakeholders.
  • Introduce a process and procedure for shortlisting sub-contractors, allowing works, monitoring process, quality and deadlines.
  • Liase with clients, architects, designers, consultants, authorities, and team members to ensure smooth flow of the projects.
  • Manage relationship with the clients and ensure that they are satisfied with the progress being made
  • Develop internal systems, procedures and practices in line with the companys long-term objectives.
