Job Description

AED 40000 - AED 50000PermanentFull timeOur client is areputed contracting company.They are now looking for aGeneral Managerto join them.Roles & Responsibilities:

  • A leadership role responsible & accountable to underlying departments viz. Finance, HR, Admin, Sales, Marketing, Planning, Project Delivery, Inventory & Procurement, Customer relationship, Partnerships, Alliances, consultants, government bodies, and others thru effective governance.
  • Prime responsibility lies in achieving targeted turn overs, profitability, delivering projects on time with quality, efficiency and increasing customer satisfaction index.
  • Directly accountable for revenue targets in sales management and revenue enhancements by product expansion, change management, partnerships/alliances, etc. Managing overall operations for executing projects involving scoping, initiating, high level design & architecture, resource mobilization, project execution within cost & time parameters
  • Monitoring/tracking projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, time over-runs to ensure timely execution of projects Operations & Maintenance. Providing network & extending communication facilities through planning, engineering, commissioning, operations & Maintenance of various construction systems
  • Managing the complete range of activities by providing right of way from conceptualization to installation, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting the equipment?s Procurement/Sourcing: Directing the development and implementation of key purchase / procurement strategies, contingency plans and ensuring that plans are aligned with production requirements Developing long-term partnerships with local suppliers/contractors and preparing rate contracts;managing day-to-day supplier performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery and quality norms; andManpower Management Recruiting, directing, leading & motivating workforce; imparting continuous on job training for accomplishing greater Operational effectiveness/ efficiency Working on succession planning of the workforce, rendering technical guidance to the staff, shift management Activities, appraising the members performance & providing feedback Quality Control/Assurance
