Key responsibilities:1) Insurance underwriting for property, casualty, engineering, financial, and medical classes and ensuring that our insurance underwriting practices remain competitive and efficient.2) Follow up with the insurance company for the timely renewal of all classes of insurance policies.3) Coordinate with group companies and our insurance company for any query or claim.4) Developing and maintaining insurance underwriting guidelines and procedures and seeking to improveterms.5) Analysing Insurance policies and proposals, reviewing, and evaluating data related to insuranceapplications, insurance records, and other related insurance documents for compliance and adherence.6) Evaluating and analyzing risk information, including loss history, financial statements, and other essentialdata to determine risk exposure.7) Negotiating with insurers to define the specific terms and conditions of insurance policies.8) Establishing and maintaining good relationships with insurers, reinsurers, and brokers and ensuring that thepolicies are underwritten in accordance with the company guidelines and regulatory requirements.9) Determining appropriate premium rates for general and medical insurance based on risk assessment.10) Working closely with the respective claims team of the insurance company to investigate and resolve claimssuccessfully.11) Liaising with insurance brokers, re-insurance brokers, and all concerned within the group.12) Preparing reports that detail risk assessment findings that contribute to the final decision and coordinatingaccordingly with the team heads.13) Knowledge of medical insurance will be an added advantage
