Job Description

General Foreman I Real Estate I Al Futtaim ConstructionOverview of the role:To plan and supervise the day to day construction activities at site level (Masonry/Carpentry & Steel Fixing), and to ensure that work is carried out in a safe manner in line with AFC Integrated Management Systems.ÿWhat you will do:Responsible for:Main Role

  • Determine and procure resources (labour, plant, equipment and subcontract requirements) and assign responsibilities for roles and tasks necessary for the satisfactory completion of the works
  • Monitor and control the supply of materials to control cost, productivity and meet programme
  • Maintain and comply with systems for managing site Health and Safety and Welfare.
  • Ensure inspection, preparation and maintenance of the site in a satisfactory condition for the safe execution of the works
  • Motivate personnel and arrange for effective productivity and economic use of labour, plant and subcontract resources and achievement required quality within any environmental constrains
  • In conjunction with the engineering staff, determine methods or working and programme of works
  • Maintain on site administrative systems to ensure integrated management systems are adhered to
OPERATIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIESSafety, Quality & Environment
  • Ensure that all relevant safety, quality and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety, quality of services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed within AFC
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of process and practices taking into account, the interests and benefits to Al Futtaim and its employees
Other Tasks
  • Any other reasonable request of work/ task as allocated by the Line Manager.
