We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our dynamic team in a leading consulting company based in Dubai. Responsibilities and Duties?? ?Managing all accounting operations based on IFRS standards.?? ?Consultation and computing taxes, preparing, and filing tax returns.?? ?Preparing and maintaining the VAT return report, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc.?? ?Conduct account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.?? ?Collect, analyze, and summarize account information.?? ?Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures.?? ?Keep up with financial policies, regulation, and legislation of the UAE.?? ?Develop, implement, modify accounting module within companys CRM system, as necessary. Liaising with IT development team for further implementation.?? ?Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and reconciling accounts.?? ?Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections.?? ?Prepare and file tax returns as required.?? ?Collaborate with auditors during the audit process and provide necessary documentation.?? ?Conduct regular health checks on client accounts to ensure compliance with regulations, tax reporting, important deadlines and prevent potential penalties or fines.
