Job Description

We are actively seeking an Arabic-speaking Accounts Payable Accountant to join our dedicated team in Dubai. This exciting role involves comprehensive financial responsibilities and will be deployed to a multinational luxury retail group client. If youre passionate about finance and ready to dive into the luxury retail sector, this is the perfect opportunity for you!Key Responsibilities:

  • Process supplier invoices in compliance with KSA VAT regulations and our clients standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies efficiently.
  • Participate in both month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate reconciliation of accounts.
  • Oversee the weekly payment cycle, including approval of supplier invoices.
  • Conduct audits on business expense claims to guarantee adherence to our strict policies.
  • Drive improvements in our accounts payable processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor?s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field. Accounting certifications are a plus.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably within the luxury goods or retail sectors.
  • Strong command of SAP and in-depth knowledge of IFRS and KSA VAT regulations.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English, with exceptional communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
