General AccountantLocation: Dubai, United Arab EmiratesSalary: Market relatedÿOur client is a leading distributor and supplier of sealants, coatings, adhesives and other related industrial products.ÿWe are looking for a General Account to join their team.Key role is to support and help the finance operations in a cross-SBU model, support the business integrate and standardize finance operations to ensure internal controls and compliance requirements are in place.<b>Responsibilities</b>úÿÿÿÿÿ Support in closing activities for UAE Two Location Fze & Mainlandúÿÿÿÿÿ Submit Trial Balance for Free zone entityúÿÿÿÿÿÿ Review the Trial Balance after submissionúÿÿÿÿÿÿ Prepare and investigate cost analysis.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ General Ledger reconciliation as per due dateúÿÿÿÿÿÿ Managing Accounts payableúÿÿÿÿÿÿ Intercompany reconciliation, finding mismatch and taking corrective action to follow the control manualúÿÿÿÿÿÿ Support in Budget preparation and submission for UAE entitiesúÿÿÿÿÿÿ Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Create monthly dashboard and review Business performanceúÿÿÿÿÿÿ Work closely with regional Finance Manager and respective SBU EMEA Finance controllers in order to Support business development in the regionúÿÿÿÿÿ Ensure Tax compliance in UAE and KSA (reports and representation timely and accuracy), manage tax cases with the Saudi Tax Authority and providing answers, reports and analysis.úÿÿÿÿÿ Coordinate and assisting the tax team and external tax advisory for VAT and corporate tax, TP aspects.úÿÿÿÿÿ Ensure Statutory compliance requirement is followed and respectedRequirements<b>Requirements:</b>úÿÿÿÿÿÿ Masters or Bachelors in Accounting, Preferably with CA/ICWA Intermediate (Equivalent) with Audit & Taxation Experienceúÿÿÿÿÿÿ Proficient in Excelúÿÿÿÿÿÿ Minimum 3 Years experience in the UAE or Saudi Arabiaúÿÿÿÿÿÿ Experience in a similar field preferredúÿÿÿÿÿÿ Candidates currently in the UAE is an advantage
