Job Description

Overview:Maintain accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Your responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, petty cash management, and contributing to the overall financial decision-making process.Key Responsibilities:Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the companys goals and long-term growth plans.
  • Analyze financial data to provide accurate and timely insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to evaluate and optimize investment opportunities.
  • Ensure the implementation of effective financial planning and budgeting processes.
Financial Operations:
  • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, balance sheets, income statements, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement or risk mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management systems.
Credit Control:
  • Assess and analyze creditworthiness of customers.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payment.
  • Follow-up on payment as per terms of payments and project delivery status.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments, retentions and guarantees from the suppliers and clients.
  • Implement credit control policies and procedures.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and forecasts for management, shareholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes.
Development:
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes accountability and excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) Process: Oversee group-level AR, including overseas entities, to ensure accurate and timely billing, collections, and reconciliations.
Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and standards.
  • Work with auditors during internal and external audits.
Communication:
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
  • Communicate with customers regarding credit terms and payment issues.
