AREAS OF EXERICESE: DISTRIBUTION & TRADING (FMCG)We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant 5 years? experience & 3 year UAE & GCC (SAUDI) Experience preferable to oversee general accounting operationsKey Responsibilities:1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Provide valuable insights to management for decision-making and strategic planning.2. General Accounting:Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts.3. Financial Planning and Budgeting:Collaborate in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.Monitor budgetary performance and report on variances.Make recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.4. Team Leadership and Development:Supervise and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.Offer training and mentorship to team members.5. Financial Systems and Technology:Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting software and tools.Stay current with accounting and financial technology trends.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or relevant professional certification preferred.Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.Strong leadership and team management capabilities.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
