? Identify & liaise all jobs On-board with project manager, ship superintendent and trade representative.? Work force estimation based on the job.? Ensuring all men under his control are provided with the necessary safety equipment.? To ensure that the jobs are performed safely.? Effective co-ordination with the project manager in order to carryout jobs as per priorities with the resources available.? Prepare daily time sheets for the team and make sure overtime hours are controlled well.? Perform inspections to ensure that the workers performance is up to the set standards.? Create progress reports on a daily basis and ensure all information?s are communicated to the Sr.foreman / supervisor i.e. resource shortfalls, surplus, HSEQ concerns? Work as a team leader responsible for development / motivation of sub-ordinates, on the job training and? Performance appraisal of the team members.? Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work? Rescue operation to be performed together with yard rescue team- should there be a requirement.? To follow the necessary work instructions, DPM, Risk Assessment, JHA and Safety standards before commencement of the job.? Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.? Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head.
