Job Description

Basic purpose of the role: Flight Training Operations Manager is responsible for maximizing instructors planning and facilities utilization. He/She will be in charge of maintaining instructors competencies and license recencies. He/she will be the focal point to Airbus TLS Control Centre. Needs to ensure excellent customer service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.Reports to the Head of Training about operations and technical matters. In parallel- will manage the Flight Training Operations Team (TDM, FTAO, Schedulers.)Main responsibilities: . Responsible for creating Flight training courses as per customers request in MYTEAM for short and long term planning.. Contributes greatly in meeting the forecasted revenue for Flight Training $3.0M. Coordinate with AIRBUS approved facility providers in the region to plan and book the courses (e.g. such as and not limited to Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA)-Bahrain, Air Arabia,( ABY)-Sharjah, Etihad Aviation Training Center (EAT), and customer based training). Coordinate with customers with regards to their course requests and inform if additional modules are required.. Support S stakeholders in the region- CSDs, FOSDs, FSRs, CDTs and Regional Safety.. Contributes and acts on Flight Training expansion projects within the region.. Coordinates with different authorities such as EASA-France and Malta, UAECAA, EGYPTCAA, Kuwait DGCA, Jordan CAA for audit and secure validation and approvals. Manage local Instructors assignments according to their availability and maximize their roster utilization.. Manage internal standardization issues for all DXB Instructors (and other freelance instructors attached to AAMESTT) and plan their revalidation to maintain their recency on their license as well as SFI/SFE/TRI/TRE instructor qualification.. Ensure that Instructor qualification and documentation are updated and in compliance with the new EASA procedures (French DGAC and UKCAA) and with local civil aviation authorities of UAE (UAECAA). Support and request Airbus Control Centre in terms of instructor support and overflow courses for Airbus Training Center (ATC) worldwide. Submits Monthly Dubai Team Productivity and Instructors Qualification Update to focal points in Toulouse.. In charge of checking Monthly, utilization invoices (could mount up to more than $300k annually) from providers and confirm with the Control Centre for payment processing.. Recover planning with ongoing courses in case of trainees remedial, facility AOG and other disruptions. Keep and update records of all Instructors Initial qualifications, standardization/refresher and recurrent training/checking progress in paper and in MYCONTROL TOWER Instructor competencies as per yearly directives. Prepare and submit all required documents for new Airbus Flight Instructors to secure EASA-French SFI certificate.
