Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:Under the leadership of theÿHead of Fleet Management Support Service,ÿand with direct supervision of theÿMSDF Officer within the Fleet Centre of the Management Services Divisionÿthe intern will benefit from close mentoring, guidance, and technical supervision. Performance planning and reviews as well as learning and development discussions will be an elemental part of the internship experience. With the support of a comprehensive induction package and some exciting soft-skills trainings, the intern will rapidly become a productive member of the team.ÿ

  • Generate and distribute user profiles as part of the Fuel App Implementation Project.
  • Guide and assist FMS user requests, navigating them through WeLearn FMS Trainings and certification processes.
  • Create and manage Driver/Staff records within FMS.
  • Conduct data cleansing to enhance FMS data quality, updating missing key fields in the Assets and other Master databases.
  • Update VTS master data records based on validation reports, monitoring timely activation and deactivation of VTS units.
  • Support with the Fleet Optimization team to oversee the implementation of fleet optimization recommendations in country offices.
  • Support other members of the FMSS team as requested by the supervisor.
ÿEducation:
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a recognized university or related university program, preferably in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or Technology related.
  • WFP interns are required to have completed at least two years of their university programme or, if fresh graduates, they should have attended classes in the past 12 months;
