After all, we have been certified as a UK Top Employer for the last nine years in a row.Role PurposeAs aFire Safety Consultant, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality, best in class services including Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Safety Audits, Fire Management Strategies, Fire Door Surveys, Passive Protection Surveys, Fire & Emergency Plans, Fire Safety Consultancy, Fire Safety, Fire Warden and Associated Training Delivery, Occupancy calculations and surveys. You will cover a defined territory servicing clients from a range of industries and building types. Ideally, we are looking for candidates who are currently registered as a Fire Risk Assessor with the IFSM along with the following; * European Diploma in Fire Safety (preferred) * NEBOSH Fire Safety and Management Certificate * MIFSM, MIFPO or GIFireE or above * Extensive technical understanding of the implementation of fire safety legislation and technical standards e.g. BS9999 * Previous risk assessment experience combined with demonstrating the skills and knowledge to conduct Tier 2/3 risk assessments * Liaison with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including Senior Management * Training Delivery * Negotiable basic salary plus bonus and company car or allowance of 4250 * 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays with the option to buy or sell 5 holidays, plus an option to carry over 5 days * Combined employee (3/4%)/employer (6/8%) pension contributions of up to 12% * Flexible/Home Working * Flexible benefits scheme, to suit what is important to you including Life Cover, Private health care, Dental Care, GymFlex, Techscheme, Enhanced Maternity/Paternity policy, Give as You Earn scheme & Travel Insurance * Health and Wellbeing Support through; Mental Health First aiders, Employee Assistance programme & Smart Health services * Working for an Industry leading global Inspection company certified as a UK Top Employer for the last nine years in a row Please be aware that all roles within Bureau Veritas UK&I may require a DBS, Credit or Security Clearance Check.
