Job Responsibilities:Overall management of the accounting records and financial reports of the hotel, ensuring compliance withcompany, owner, statutory and fiscal requirements and timetableProvide an effective and efficient control through focused system of internal controlMonitor compliance with company policy and accounting proceduresEnsure legal and tax compliance and that adequate insurance cover is maintainedLiaise and co-operate with both Internal and External audits and ensure that corrective action is taken whererequiredDevelop best practice financial accounting and control proceduresSupport and advice the management team on financial and commercial mattersManage the formulation, review and approval of budgeting and strategic planning within the hotel, identifyingvalue opportunitiesEnsure a regular cycle of forecasting is taking place with content and detail appropriate to the needs of theoperation.
