At LEGOLAND? we make every child a HERO!Play Your PartIn this role you will be responsible for the production and analysis of a wide variety of accurate and timely financial reports to aid in business decisions, with detailed commentary to both a financial and non-financial audience. Responsible for supporting the coordination, preparation, consolidation, reporting and analysis of all key financial statements and reports. DPR and Merlin reporting will require submissions on a daily, weekly, monthly, half yearly and annual basis. The job holder must ensure that the appropriate financial procedures and controls are in place and are being adhered to at all times without exception. Supporting the implementation and maintenance of an extremely controlled environment whilst working in cooperation with Internal Audit is critical to the success of the team. The Financial Analyst will play a very important role in the monthly financial close & reporting process. This individual must possess great attention to detail and a strong financial acumen. GL responsibilities and fulfilling the internal and external reporting requirements, including the corporate audit.Main Responsibilities:-

  • Analyzing Trends in revenue and expenses by preparing spreadsheets, graphs, and charts for illustration purposes.
  • Assisting in preparing budget and monthly rolling forecasts.
  • Daily revenue recoding and reconciliation tosource system.
  • Variance analysis and identification of key business trends.
  • Allocated balance sheet reconciliations including deferred revenue.
  • Responsible for gathering cross park sales data for performing invoice calculation in coordination with the AR team.
  • Reporting detailed daily/weekly revenue and visitor attendance in line with DPR and Merlin reporting requirements.
  • Providing a support services by working with all departments and the management team to helpmakefinancial decisions by interpretation of analysis.
  • Assist in the production of month-end close and reporting packages. Build reports utilizing macros, formulas, as necessary.
  • Maintain revenue databases and revenue management information systems for all revenue streams of the park.
  • Delivery of annual pass group reporting.
  • Aid in delivery of local daily and weekly revenue analysis reports.
  • Aid in delivery of local weekly admissions and promotions reports.
  • Aid in delivery of group weekly yield, performance and statistic reports.
  • Assistance in preparing unit level P&L?s including commentary analysis.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and participate and / or lead projects, as assigned.
  • Analyse operational data, identify process inefficiencies, recommend process improvement which lead to tangible business benefits.
  • Develop effective business relationships throughout the organization in order to successfully collaborate and deliver key deliverables, including recurring management reporting.
  • Assisting and cooperating with internal and external audit throughout the year.
Health & SafetyManagers/Supervisors are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their department, in line with the Group Policy (HS001). Inparticular, they must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out, thatsafe working procedure are in place for all work activities and that all employees under theirmanagement are aware of the Group Health,Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it. They must ensure thatsafe working practices are monitored, and that riskassessments and procedures are reviewed regularly. Where incidents dooccur, they must ensure that they are investigated appropriately and that where necessary, corrective action istaken to ensurethatsuch incidents are no repeated. Are You a Star?In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:Required Qualification:
  • Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business or closely related field
Required Experience:
  • 2-4 years financial analysis experience, preferably in the FEC industry
  • Experience with all MS office products
  • Advance level of Excel is essential
