Job Description

This position involves a high level of organization in a fast-paced, established company. The role will support multiple hospitality projects at local, regional, and international levels, and involves managing procurement of all required FF&E and OS&E?for each project assigned. The candidate must possess strong written and verbal skills (Arabic is an advantage),?experience with analyzing complex sets of data and communicate effectively with internal and external project stakeholders.?Excellent organizational skills, effective time management,?negotiating skills and?flexibility?to cope with change; Ability to handle multiple projects, work under pressure, high attention to detail, in addition, motivated to advance and be willing to travel frequently.?The responsibilities of this role are as follows:

  • Liaise with Project Manager, Operator, ID, and Client?to determine Operating Supplies and Equipment (OS&E) requirements and Furniture Fixture and Equipment (FF&E)
  • Source FF&E and OS&E items to comply with requirements and budget guidelines
  • Conduct research to find appropriate suppliers and the best products?in terms of best value, delivery schedules, and quality
  • Manage the negotiation process, including specification of goods and services, quality, price, terms, conditions, availability, and suppliers reputation and history
  • Prepare and issued reports including weekly updates to procurement schedules and budgets; track all purchasing from source to delivery on site
  • Liaise with Site Manager on all procurement matters related to the project
  • Handle all activities related to the bid process, requirements for quotes, processing of purchase orders, and payment approvals
  • Coordinate Logistics
  • Keep updated records and inform project status with all stakeholders
  • Conduct product inspection where applicable
  • Provide additional support to the Procurement team on other projects where necessary
