Job Description

The opportunityAn exciting opportunity to be a part of our facilities management business that provides interrogated facilities management services for government client across Dubai. An exciting opportunity to be a part of Mace and our facilities management business that provides interrogated facilities management services for a leading government client responsible for site across Dubai. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the facilities leads in managing the tactical delivery for the for the assigned facilities and be the on-site point of contact for the key stakeholders and/or client in the absence of the facilities manager.
  • Facilities management, technical support, critical environment management, client relationship management, incident investigation and reporting, root cause analysis of faults, asset management, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material and equipment & supplies.
  • Assisting and overseeing the maintenance and operation of building services.
  • Providing maintenance advice ensuring clients quality and safety targets are met.
  • Assisting the team with the day-to-day administrative components and responsibilities, such as work orders, audit reports, budget management, client reporting, risk management, permits, reactive works as examples.
  • Ensuring all asset, contractor and compliance data is captured and that all documentation is accessible centrally, accurate and current in the CAFM system to enable real-time reporting.
  • Utilising the asset management CAFM request system for work order management and prioritisation.
  • Managing work request allocations through work orders, aligned purchase orders and procured contractors and subsequently ensuring all service provider payments are accurate, timely and professional.
  • Providing input on asset priorities so that the procurement and administration of services deliver exceptional customer experiences, developing and communicating the plan to the broader building management team.
  • Delivering accurate metrics for the asset (e.g., financial, safety, compliance, contractor management, operational excellence and environmental).
  • Implementing our standard operating procedures through MaceWay for the team and contract providers to ensure consistency and quality delivery of works.
  • Carrying out site audits and reports.
  • Managing all aspects of facilities services as detailed in the scope of works section of the contract and will report to the Senior Facilities Manager based in Dubai.
  • Managing service delivery at specified locations, which will be measured by contractual KPIs/SLAs.
  • Working directly with the local client to ensure a thorough understanding of their objectives and the implementation of acceptable property-specific operating strategies that achieve these required standards.
  • Overseeing the implementation of all approved initiatives and programs, by managing and coordinating the efforts of the FM team (e.g. direct reports, service providers, contractors, and building employees) to achieve the goals.
  • Representing Mace in the local and regional business.
