Job Description

  • Study and interpret drawings to fabricate, position, align and fit parts of assembly - as specified
  • Carry out fabrication of steel structure as per drawings provided
  • Carry out fabrication of steel piping as per drawings provided
  • Carry out fabrication of steels vessels and tanks etc
  • Responsible for welding, fabrication and installation activities as assigned by supervisors at site
  • ˙Should be able to carry out necessary repairs, refurbishments, and modifications of piping and structure work at the plant
  • Should be able to interpret the measurements and verify the specifications
  • Work on new and development projects as required
  • Check stocks of available material (related to his area of work) and advise supervisors for re-ordering etc
  • Carry out erection works of piping, structure, and equipment at various levels as required
  • Carry out inspection of portable and hand machines/tools for use during the work
