Job Description

OverviewA senior level, experienced individual with established background in B2B event industry required to work and develop IDC Syndicated and Custom eventsResponsibilities

  • Independently Manage assigned conferences and roundtables. In addition, support IDC event team members as and when required.
  • Work closely with Event Producer & Research team in developing the relevant event content, overview, agenda, topics of session.
  • Support and work with Graphics team in finalizing the key visuals for the event.
  • Liaise with Graphics, PR and Marketing team in creating social media campaigns.
  • Scope & secure venues and coordinate with suppliers for the events
  • Organize speakers, bios, event information, profile pictures, uploading presentations, etc.
  • Experience in managing P&L Budget. Ensuring desired minimum profitability is maintained for each project
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English (Arabic a Plus). Ability to write promotional copy for Event invitation & Social Media campaigns
  • Flexibility to work long hours and weekends based on project requirements
  • Tech savvy and willing to adopt and embrace new technologies
  • Preparing post event report for both external and internal clients giving a complete overview of event including attendee demographics, attendee feedback, event ratings and visuals
Qualifications
  • 5- 7 years of experience in events planning, public relations or any other related field in a reputable organization.
