Job Description

Job Title: Event ManagerLocation: Dubai, UAECompany: Sapphire Event Management, Business BayJob Type: Full-TimeThe Event Planner/Manager is responsible for organising, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, including weddings, corporate functions, parties, and conferences. This role involves managing all aspects of event planning, from initial client consultation to final event execution, ensuring that each event meets or exceeds client expectations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients to understand their event goals, themes, and budget
  • Develop detailed presentations, event plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and other event partners
  • Oversee event logistics, including transportation, catering, entertainment, and accommodations
  • Manage event setup, execution, and teardown
  • Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during the event
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations
  • Provide post-event evaluations and feedback to clients
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Event Planner or Event Manager
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for logistics, hospitality management, rooming & transport
Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in event planning or management, with a portfolio of successful events.
Work Environment:
  • This position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules. Some travel may be necessary for site visits and meetings with clients and vendors
