Black & Grey HR is hiring for a Construction Business in the UAE, who are looking to hire an experienced Procurement Engineer for a construction company. Our client is looking to hire a Estimator with fit out background who will be responsible for analyzing plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs.<br /><br />- Ensure completeness of documents and drawings required for the tender<br />- Study all aspects related to the tender- Conduct a quantity take off to verify bills or quantify the works<br />- Pre-tender negotiations with major suppliers and subcontractors<br />- Preparation of all documents according to the procedures for tender submission- Send out enquiries for pricing<br />- Addressing queries to the consultant for the clarification of any ambiguities/ passing on information to the subcontractors & suppliers where necessary.<br />- Conduct pre-tender site visits<br />- Prepare rate built-up of rates and prices for review by Senior<br />- Update pricing database and monitor productivity and ensure the project is executed as per budget.<br />- Prepare bid summaries with technical and price comparison.<br /><br /><br />Requirements<br />- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture or Quantity Surveying<br />- Minimum of 5 years of UAE experience in a similar position with a Fit-Out background<br />- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines<br />- Excellent communication and negotiation skills<br />- Attention to detail and ability to multitask<br />- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD<br />- Fluent in English, both written and spoken<br /><br />Benefits<br />Attractive Salary + Benefits.ÿ<br />
