Job Description

The?Estimator?for the Used Business for Trucks?is primarily responsible for estimating the fair value of used units in line with overall market situation and support the sales team.?The key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Buying pre-owned commercial vehicles / industrial units as required by the inputs from the Sales Team, Stock Target report and the daily stock availability report
  • Ensuring that the KPIs of Purchase, Stock Age, Trade Sales and Gross Margin are met or excelled
  • Appraising the commercial vehicles/units technically and accurately estimating preparation expenses and valuing it as per latest valuation guide and Stock Target / availability reports
  • Providing trade-in services to New Units Sales Executives by appraising and valuating part exchange
  • Completing the negotiation, purchasing and transfer of legal ownership of the purchased vehicle /unit and providing the required documents to the Administration department in order to process the purchase
  • Ensuring that the vehicles / units are purchased with all required accessories
  • Awareness on competitor activities/their products and discuss the data with the Sales Manager to facilitate the necessary strategic planning by the management.
  • Document and maintain all records pertaining to the area of activity?for future reference and for use by the Sales Managers.
