Job Description

Our client, a multi-disciplinary powerhouse that has built a name throughout the region as a pioneer in design, engineering and production, is urgently looking for aEstimatorIn this job, you will be responsible for :

  • Organize and prepare quotes and documents for bid proposal
  • Must be knowledgeable in Word, Excel, Adobe, and CAD
  • Blueprint reading is a must
  • Preparing BOQ, Quotation, and presentation as per project requirements
  • Helping with logistic costing, making sure to get the best available prices on the market.
  • Meeting supplier and contractor.
  • Emphasis will be on casework, lockers, and loose furniture
  • Must be organized, high have attention to detail and have good problem-solving time management skills.
  • Identifies, establishes and manages strategic relationships with clients and subcontractors to gather resources and build effective project estimates that help win and deliver work.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
  • 5+ years of experience of industry related experience
  • Should be well-versed in furniture Plan Layout (AutoCAD), Furniture design reviewing & BOQ preparation.
  • Able to perform all duties of the Estimator.
  • Knows the competition.
  • Understands Costs and Market Conditions.
  • Communicates and listens effectively.
  • Works with the team
  • Proficient in the use of applicable estimating software is a plus
  • Identifies and understands differences in subcontractor/vendor quotations
  • Comfortable with flexible working hours as per the demand of the business.
