Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Manager to join our dynamic team specializing in Facade, Aluminium, and Glazing work. As an Estimation Manager, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs, resources, and time required for various projects related to facade, aluminium, and glazing installations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the profitability and success of our projects by providing accurate and competitive estimates to clients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in estimating and project management within the construction industry, particularly in facade, aluminium, and glazing work.Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive and accurate estimates for facade, aluminium, and glazing projects, considering factors such as materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to understand the scope and requirements of each project.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to review client proposals and create competitive bids that align with project specifications and profitability targets.
  • Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
  • Utilize industry-specific software and tools to create detailed take-offs and cost breakdowns for accurate estimations.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and identify potential challenges or risks that may impact the projects cost and timeline.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of estimates with project goals and requirements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and technological advancements related to facade, aluminum, and glazing work to provide accurate estimations.
  • Prepare and present estimates to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have, and negotiating pricing and terms as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
