? Should be in a position to estimate civil engineering greenfield projects from scratch so as to retain competitiveness in our bidding process vis-?-vis other competitors.? Preparing and finalizing the Bill of Quantity, work out rate analysis for different items based on the quotations received from various subcontractors and suppliers. Finalization of tender and its submission.? Review of all civil inquiries/ tender bid and prioritization of bids as per the instruction of GM.? Quantity Surveying duties including the study of drawings, measurement, ? Identifying the subcontractors, Suppliers and proper understanding of market trends.? Attempts to bring in savings in costs against the prescribed budget by using Value Engineering skills.? To participate jointly with the Project team and attend clarification meetings with the client & consultant.? Monitor the work progress and prepare EOTs? The skill of preparing variations and its submission.? Contract closeout and related correspondence? Preparation of interim applications for payment & internal valuations.? Preparation of monthly contract review reports.? Preparation of contractual and commercial input into Project Business plans.? Ensure that contract documents are properly executed prior to project commencement.? Seek out the ways to add value to the business.? Strive for the achievement of the project goal.? Understands and seeks to minimize waste in resources and processes.? Delivers a reliable and timely output of work to meet requirements.? Ability to work with minimal supervision.
