Job Description

The Engineering Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting engineering projects within the construction and building industry. This position is ideal for individuals who possess a blend of technical skills and a keen eye for detail. The Engineering Assistant will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.Responsibilities:

  1. Assist engineers in the design and development of construction projects.
  2. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and drawings.
  3. Collaborate with project managers to track project timelines and budgets.
  4. Support the procurement process by sourcing materials and equipment.
  5. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on engineering tasks.
  6. Help in the preparation of project proposals and bids.
  7. Ensure all engineering work complies with local building codes and regulations.
  8. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving engineering issues on-site.
  9. Maintain effective communication with contractors and subcontractors.
