Transguard Group is the UAE?s most trusted business support and outsourcing provider and has a large, dynamic and culturally diverse workforce with 50,000 employees!We are currently recruiting for aEngineer - Systems( Terminal Systems for our trusted client to be based out of their headquarters in DubaiJob Role-The purpose of this role is to develop, maintain and support Airport Operational systems and applications and their interfaces to other applications while adopting best practices in the aviation domain.The job required to work closely with product leaders, business analysts, internal and external stakeholders as well as vendors. In addition, this role is also responsible for writing documentation to describe custom configuration of systems and operating procedures.The candidate must have solid knowledge of the following:Project Management:

  • Requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience on managing complex projects.
  • Project?s documentation preparation.
  • Budget Preparation
  • Managing on-site vendors and controlling project timelines.
  • Good knowledge in well-known project management tools.
  • Hands-on experience in testing, commissioning and handover.
Experience:
  • Experience of Airport operational systems such as Airport Operational Database, situation awareness platforms, Passenger processing systems, Queue management systems, Resource Management, Flight / Public Information systems, airline and airport integration, stakeholder collaboration and decision making systems and logistics optimization systems
  • Knowledge of check-In and boarding systems will be an added advantage.
  • Extensive knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications
  • Experience with database development including relational database design, SQL and ORM technologies. Preferred Integration using SQL server integration service.
  • Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications. Knowledge of computer flow charts and of programming logic
  • Should possess excellent verbal and written presentation skills including report writing skills.
  • Knowledge of ACDM standards and associated applications is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge Airfield systems and solutions like AFLS,VDGS, IASS, EFPS, CAT11 etc. will be an added advantage.
  • Cloud computing and expertise in managing and developing in cloud. Working with tools like Microsoft azure or amazon cloud will be an added advantage.
  • Skill set also include some of the development skills in .Net and other software development technologies.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes
