Employee Relations Advisor (UAENational)Position within: Human ResourcesReports to: Employee Relations SpecialistLocation : Dubai International Airport Terminal 1Category : General VacanciesDepartment : HR Employee Relations Job PurposeThe jobholder will support plans for building a strong employee relations and engagement service offering for junior level employees. The incumbent will provide adequate support in mitigating risk and conducting end-to-end internal investigations of employee disciplinary actions and complaints.This will include supporting the assessment of workplace related needs; communicating needs proactively and delivering value-added services to meet people orientated goals.Key AccountabilitiesProvides day-to-day employee relations guidance to line management (coaching, counselling, disciplinary/grievanceactions).Supports the development of cultural changes for junior level employees through a variety of different methods, enabling managers to be more effective and encourage greater responsibility for their employees.Monitors feedback from various sources including new hire surveys, employment engagement surveys, focus groups and exit interviews to understand possible areas of risk, departmental culture and needs to administer programs to improve the employee experience.Participates in the communication and awareness of the bi-annual employee survey and supports the facilitation of action plans to address any areas of concern.Ensures all disciplinary actions are documented and prepares report of findings and recommends corrective action.Supports the effective delivery of a higher performing ER services and initiatives, through the further development of the innovative services.Builds relationships with all employees in order to foster a more open and communicative environment, and provides accessibility and support to all employees in relation to understanding Company policies.Essential Requirements & CompetenciesBachelor?s degree in business administration or HR or equivalent, CIPD is desirableMinimum 5 years? experience in employee relations and supporting the provision of services related to employee engagement, employee relations and welfare.Experience gained within a large organisation and must have led a number company-wide ER initiatives and services.
