Job Code: QG1/AM1/098Industry: ElectronicsJob Responsibilities:? Manage technical and program management aspects of value engineering projects through the full product development process.? Engage with customers and assist with authoring development proposals.? Create compelling products and cost-efficient engineering solutions that satisfy customer needs.? Author, edit and release to revision control technical project documentation work instructions and test procedures.? Devise component strategy and execute on the creation of pre-production prototype samples.? Coordinate with domestic and international engineering teams to ensure that developed solutions can be produced in a controlled, repeatable manner by East West owned or managed facilities.? Conduct detailed design reviews with internal and international development teams.? Devise and execute qualification testing plans to ensure the design process produces robust, reliable products.? Participate in the transition of customer approved designs to the NPI team for tooling, PPAP and 1st production.? Other related duties may be assigned.Job Requirements:? Must have 5-8 years experience as Electronics Engineer in home appliances industry? Must have after sales service and maintenance experience of home appliances? Mastery of Electrical or Electronics Engineering; understanding of the processes and deliverables of other engineering disciplines.? Understanding of interdisciplinary product development for a variety of markets.? Ability to transition product concepts from sketch to print to prototype to production.? Familiarity with product validation and qualification test strategies and processes.? Experience in a wide range of manufacturing processes and technologies.? Ability to build trust and rapport with customers.? Skill in handling multiple tasks and prioritizing.? Skill in handling conflict and uncertain situations.? Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities.? Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.? Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.
