You will oversee the ecommerce development team, website development, engineering tasks, and app releases.You will be responsible for meeting development schedules and delivering high quality solutions that meet technical specifications and design requirements.As a tech lead you will be entrusted to lead the specification and design phases of the software development life cycle. • Work with external software teams as required for system development, algorithm design and project management to deliver on established project milestones.
• Involved with code to make informed decisions, identify technical risks and to maintain trust with developers.
• Implement best practices and coding standards for technical projects.
• Will be the interface between the technical team and the management.
• Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
• Ensure the overall application architecture fits the business context, both now and in the future.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop roadmaps and establish priorities.
• Analyze, identify, research, and recommend technology and business solutions to meet business requirements and system standards.
• Fine-tune the technical stack with a focus on security, high availability, and scalability.
• Lead the full life cycle of development, from specification and design through implementation, testing, and support.
• Create and implement risk mitigation processes and conduct security audits to determine weaknesses in applications and/or processes.
• Control all technical integrations with ecommerce platforms, third-party app integrations, and the whole ecommerce stack.
• Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on status, operation and maintenance of software including SOPS, Templates, workflows etc.
• Lead the evaluation of new software design tools, software architectures, and algorithms. Coordinating and working effectively with other departments to provide software support as needed.
• Responsible to lead all front end and back-end components, integrations, and customizations of app, website, and other digital platforms.
• Lead all activities related to testing and debugging at all levels, including system, integration and performance testing and provides feedback to the team.
• Influence and drive high level of automation across the organization.
• Ensure the customer database is maintained and right measures are deployed to retain the same in the back end.
• Lead activities related to recruitment, training and development of the team.
