Firefighting draftsman 5-6 years? experience& 3+ years of minimum UAE experience. Associate degreein mechanical drafting, or CAD certification plus5-6years of relevant work experience. 3D Mechanical modeling, 2D drafting, detailing & co-ordination. Strong knowledge of all fire protection system & gas suppressionsystems. Solid understanding of product design and mechanical engineering principles. Strong knowledge ofcode and regulation (NFPA/UAE FLS code). Excellent technical communication skills &Strong attention to detail. Able to work within strict deadlines. Accurate, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision. Job Responsibilities Create Shop drawings, schematics, 2D and 3D digital models of Fire protection equipment designs, using measurements, specifications and additional data from engineering team Complete design, Shop drawing and coordination with design teams including review, comments & RFI. Coordinate with Design/Project engineers to understand project requirements. Verify design details and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards and best practices Annotate and verify all numerical designations and specifications in technical drawings and schematics, using both CAD programs and hydrauliccalculations when necessary Provide support to engineering team as needed by creating technical drawings, section and required details.
