Job Description

DirectressPosition Overview: Directressl at Future Scholars School reports directly to the Managing Partner of the school, responsible for overseeing all aspects of school operations, including academic programs, staff management, student affairs, and community relations. This leadership role ensures that the school?s mission and Montessori philosophy are effectively implemented and that the school operates smoothly and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:?

  • Leadership & Vision: Develop and articulate a clear vision for the school?s educational approach and strategic direction. Lead and inspire faculty, staff, and students to achieve the school?s goals and uphold its mission.
  • Curriculum Oversight: Ensure that the Montessori curriculum is effectively implemented across all classrooms. Monitor and evaluate educational programs and make necessary adjustments to enhance student learning and development.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and support teaching and administrative staff. Conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Student Affairs: Oversee student enrollment, discipline, and welfare. Address student and parent concerns, and ensure that the school provides a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Administrative Oversight: Manage the school?s budget, financial planning, and resource allocation. Ensure that administrative processes are efficient and compliant with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Community Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, community leaders, and other stakeholders. Represent the school at community events, and promote positive public relations.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure that the school adheres to all regulatory and accreditation requirements. Implement and monitor health, safety, and emergency protocols to safeguard the well-being of students and staff.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the school?s growth and improvement. Set long-term goals, evaluate progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
